What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP, Java& Salesforce Technical Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positionsavailable): 1. Design and deliver Java and Salesforce softwareprojects to completion, providing guidance on cost, architecture,and server modifications. 2. Create, modify, and test the code andscripts that allow computer applications to run. 3. Act as a Javaand Salesforce technical leader within the CRM stream, designs andimplements software solutions. 4. Liaise with a team of developers,cross-functional IT teams, clients, and stakeholders, on specificsystem requirements and advice on best practices and technicalguidance for development strategies. 5. Analyze, maintain, test anddocument the CRM data distribution layer and middle-tier componentsspecifications and instructions to assess and evaluate stability,security, and scalability of the system architecture. 6. Analyze,maintain, test and design Salesforce components and softwareservices to be used as integration with other internalapplications. 7. Monitor systems operations, analyze businessrequirements, and provide technical solutions utilizing knowledgeof end-to-end processes and systems concepts. 8. Create Pythonscripts that transform data to different types of formats, to beused as business reports or a system integration. 9. Maytelecommute. Purpose of the role To design,develop and improve software, utilising various engineeringmethodologies, that provides business, platform, and technologycapabilities for our customers and colleagues. AccountabilitiesDevelopment and delivery of high-quality software solutions byusing industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, andtools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimizedfor performance. Cross-functional collaboration with productmanagers, designers, and other engineers to define softwarerequirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamlessintegration and alignment with business objectives. Collaborationwith peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture ofcode quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industrytechnology trends and innovations and actively contribute to theorganization’s technology communities to foster a culture oftechnical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure codingpractices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, andensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unittesting practices to ensure proper code design, readability, andreliability.
