Database Administrator is needed to perform the following duties:

• Working with a database requires the administrator to understand complex systems, and how a minor error can cause major problems.
• Should take care of all the problems regarding company database and secure all company data.
• Manage end-to end database administration within Blue Link ERP, optimizing pharmaceutical inventory tracking and ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Support the operations, maintenance and integration of information, automation, and communications systems of the Warehouse including interfaces with networks, local host systems database, and remote system databases.
• Implement secure user access controls for Oak Drugs staff using Blue link ERP, reducing unauthorized data access incidents by 90%.
• Performs strategic planning relative to these databases.
• Assist the Wholesale Warehouse staff to make the data already available to the benefit of the customers and the warehouse itself.
• Maintain Database Access to all Warehouse users. Analyze and Recommend Database Improvements related to the Blue Link ERP. Analyze Impact of Database Changes to the Business
• Provide protected access to Audit and request Databases related to the third-party insurance companies so that confidentiality is not violated.
• Identify database requirements by interviewing customers; analyzing department applications, programming, and operations; evaluating existing systems and designing proposed systems. If needed, develop a new database to fit in the customer needs for the benefits of the company.
• Develop and Test Methods to Synchronize Data and Secure Network Structures. Setup Safety Measures to Recover Data. Backup and Restore Data. Debug Database Issues on Live Data related to inventory receiving, billing and streamlining outbound deliveries.
• Recommends solutions by defining database physical structure and functional capabilities, database security, data back-up, and recovery specifications.
• Ensure Data is Secure, Databases Run Efficiently and that the Platform is available for use.
• Extract Live Data, have back up set in place for everyday use and analyze data every day to see if the database is functioning properly, Prevent Data Loss, Recover Lost Data and Repair Program Bugs
• Install revised or new systems by proposing specifications and flowcharts recommending optimum access techniques, coordinating installation requirements.
• Maintain database performance by calculating optimum values for database parameters; implementing new releases; completing maintenance requirements; evaluating computer operating systems and hardware products.
• Prepare users by conducting training; providing information; resolving problems.
• Develop and maintain IT governance policies to ensure system availability, data integrity, and compliance across the organization.
• Establish incident response and escalation procedures, ensuring minimal downtime and rapid resolution of critical IT issues.
• Monitor system logs, conduct routine audits and ensure Blue Link ERP adhere to industry data protection standards.
• Develop automated backup and recovery routines in Blue Link ERP, ensuring uninterrupted operations and full disaster recovery readiness.
