Job Summary:
Join our dynamic team as a Lead Data Center Engineer! This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office and two days remote. We’re open to all time zones, and our working hours are flexible, typically from 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute end-of-life equipment refreshes
Build out new network infrastructure for application onboarding
Skills Required:
7-10 years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting complex data center networks across multiple locations
Proficiency with Cisco network equipment, including Cisco Nexus series of Data Center switches, CRS, ASR9K & NCS 55XX devices, and Arista series of Data Center switches
Knowledge of Internet Protocols/network/services/technologies such as TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, SDN, VXLAN, EVPN, Leaf/Spine fabric
Ability to automate network operational tasks using Python, Ansible, etc.
Preferred Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proactive, friendly, and adaptable with a strong willingness to learn
Relevant work experience, CCMP data center, CCIE data center certifications are a plus
