We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Database Administrator to join our growing IT team. This role is perfect for someone with a solid technical foundation who is eager to build on their database skills and grow into a more advanced DBA role. The Database Administrator will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing our SQL Server and related database environments across multiple companies. This is an in office role and we do not provide any relocation services. Out of area applicants will not be considered. Key Responsibilities Maintain, monitor, and support SQL Server databases across multiple environments Perform regular database maintenance including backups, indexing, and performance tuning Assist in troubleshooting database-related issues including query performance and data inconsistencies Create and maintain stored procedures, views, and data import/export processes Collaborate with development and reporting teams to support data-driven applications Support ETL processes and data integrations between systems Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance with company policies Participate in database upgrades, migrations, and version control Document database structures, procedures, and changes Identify and recommend opportunities to optimize queries and improve performance Assist with user access requests and permission management Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing Help define metrics and reporting for database performance, usage, and reliability

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Competencies:

Strong understanding of relational databases and T-SQL Familiarity with SSMS and SQL Profiler or similar diagnostic tools Analytical mindset with attention to detail Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Effective written and verbal communication skills Time management and organizational skills Ability to collaborate across departments and respond to data needs quickly Basic understanding of data warehousing or BI tools (Power BI, SSIS, etc.) is a plus

Requirements:
