Smithfield, Rhode Island Only Lead Database Developer for the Workplace Investment team will be responsible for designing and driving implementation of applications/ framework using Oracle, SQL Server, Informatica, Control-M. This technology group provides superior development and maintenance support to the overall Workplace Investment organization.

• Developing and designing robust high per-performance database solutions.
• Assessing and researching current implementations of the platform and determining the course of action required to elevate the platform to meet customer needs.
• Taking the business requirements coupled with existing architecture to set a technical vision for features and major components and clearly articulating the evolutionary steps to achieve it. The Skills that are Key to this role
• Your experience in PL/SQL programming including packages, procedures, function and triggers.
• Your ability to optimize complex queries and design efficient solutions.
• Your experience working in enterprise environments with version control and deployment standards.

• Your experience in ETL design and development.
• Your experience with data base such as Oracle (Primary), SQL server .

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or similar subject.
• 7-10 years of experience in information technology.
• Financial services experience, preferably in retirement Domain.
• Certification in relevant technologies is preferred.
