Job Description

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Database Administrator – Oracle Enterprise Applications opening for our client in Conshohocken, PA.

6 months

Duties:
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Oracle Database Security features within the enterprise application landscape
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives focused on Oracle technical architecture, particularly in security implementations
  • Implement and support Oracle security technologies including Transparent Data Encryption (TDE), Data Vault, and infrastructure-level security (OS, firewall, storage)
  • Participate in hands-on proof-of-concept (PoC) projects to validate and demonstrate Oracle Security capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent and secure Oracle architecture solutions
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including architecture diagrams, high-level design (HLD), and low-level design (LLD) documents
  • Ensure software consistency and security compliance across the Oracle landscape
Skills:
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Database Security features and enterprise application architecture
  • Proficient in configuring and managing Oracle TDE, Data Vault, and other advanced security options
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure security, including OS-level, network/firewall, and storage protections
  • Experience with Oracle Key Vault (OKV), Exadata, ZFS, and ZDLRA preferred
  • Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and effectively through diagrams and documentation
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an Oracle Security DBA in enterprise environments
  • Proven track record leading Oracle security architecture design and implementation projects
  • Experience working with Oracle engineered systems and security appliances is highly desirable
Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
