Data Center Technician We are looking for 10 Data CenterTechnicians in the Moncks Corner / Summerville SC area to start inMid-March
- All applicants applying will be required to submit to abackground check . This is a contract/ possible contract to hirerole for a major data center in the Charleston SC metro area Thestarting rate range is $21-24 per hour W2

Deliver sustainable and repeatablesolutions and processes, always with an eye on improvement. Providestructured feedback on project progress to Stakeholders. Exhibitquality workmanship on all work and maintain Data Centercleanliness. Follow all production, safety and quality standards,codes, and industry best practices. Collaborate with variousStakeholders to remove project obstacles. Reading and comprehendingblueprints and building documentation/redline work. Broadunderstanding of Data Center infrastructure technologies.
Technician must be detail oriented, analytical. Process andcompliance focused Ability to work independent of directsupervision; self-starting; Team Player. Good organizational,written, and verbal skills (meticulous regarding documentation).Excellent people skills, customer oriented, willingness to helpothers. Positive and Proactive approach Willingness to travel.

Technician must demonstrate good customer skills. Technician hastotal responsibility for the job layout and plan of execution.
Technician must stay current with the latest technologies andinstallation procedures. Technician must have a full understandingof the scope of work. Technician must have the ability tounderstand and accurately complete all paperwork required ofassigned project. Technician must be able to run small, medium, andlarge projects when required. Technician must be fully competent ofthe standard for quality installation craftsmanship and customerservice excellence. Technician must be fully competent atinstallation and termination of various copper and fiber productsin accordance with TIA/EIA standards and BICSI standards. MainDuties /
Required:
Knowledge and use of basic telecom hand tools.
Must understand customer service. Clear understanding of job safetyrequirements. Be able to read and understand floor plans. Should befamiliar on wiring schemes and wiring testing. Should be able topull all types of low voltage cable. Should understand and becapable in performing field terminations and labeling. Reports toOperations Manager and take daily directions from Technician,Technician II, Lead Technicians, Senior Technicians and AdvanceSenior Technicians. Capable of maintaining orderly paperwork,capable of running service jobs. Possess skill to layout MDF andIDF closets, be able to dress all types of cable, and perform alltype of terminations. Capable of working in Data Centers Shall beable to install ladder racking and seismic bracing both above andunder raise floor. Basic understanding of both copper and fibercable testing and troubleshooting. Read and understand blueprintsand design document Dress and furcate fiber trunks for splicingMaintaining orderly paperwork and running service Fusion Spliceincluding Ribbon/Single OSP/ISP Install, connect, and decom networkequipment Operate
