Job Summary:

The Corporate Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of the organization’s corporate systems, with a primary focus on Salesforce. This role operates as part of the Corporate Systems team to ensure the company’s systems function at maximum capacity for daily operations.

Essential Functions:

Assist as system administrator for the company’s Salesforce environment, providing ongoing technical support and expertise to end users.
Perform basic administrative functions such as credentials maintenance, data maintenance, and backup.
Create or modify workflows, reports, and dashboards for the organization based on evolving business needs.
Assist with integrations between Salesforce and other business software such as financial, legal, and customer service packages.
Assist with basic administrative tasks in other corporate systems as needed.
Research updates and upgrades, and analyze their impact; perform updates as needed.
Analyze business requirements for new development requests, define scope, and complete tasks.
Carry out monitoring procedures for the Salesforce environment and other corporate systems.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain documentation and playbooks.
Assist in training end users
Establish, implement, and follow standard processes and controls to ensure a clean environment, including but not limited to customization requests, sandbox maintenance, and change management.
Perform special project-related tasks as assigned.
Comply with company policies and procedures as required.

Minimum Requirements:
Specific Job Skills:

Ability to work with others effectively to achieve common goals.
Ability to map out and solve complex issues by thinking outside the box.
Apply best practices to support multiple business units.
Ability to critically evaluate request details from business units, reconcile conflicts, create technical detail from abstract concepts, communicate a general understanding from technical details, and interpret user requests into true requirements.
Familiarity with common IT processes such as incident, service request, and change management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service within all dimensions of the job duties on a consistent basis.
Experience with both native and lightning experiences for Salesforce is a plus.
Experience gathering requirements from clients and business units.
Experience with other corporate systems such as Netsuite, Jira, and Microsoft 365 is preferred.
Experience with integrators such as Celigo or Boomi is preferred

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

Experience:

2-3 years of hands-on experience with Salesforce administration.

Supervision:

N/A

Certifications:

Salesforce.com Admin (ADM201) certification preferred.

Language Skills:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
