The successful candidate will be responsible for the EnterpriseData Warehouse (EDW) ETL development, deployment and monitoring andwill work with the team designing the ETL process and exceptionhandling. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing,developing and deploying ETL mappings and workflows, providingtechnical guidance to other resources and have experience in avariety of software development concepts and practices.

Job responsibilities:

• Works with a Data Architect to identify and understand sourcedata systems
• Maintains maps of source system data to target system rulesassociated with ETL processes
• Develops and tests extraction, transformation, cleansing, andload (ETL) processes for data warehouse
• Adapts ETL processes to accommodate changes in source systems andnew business requirements
• Maintains and enhances existing data extraction, cleansing,transformation, and loading processes to improve efficiency
• Assists with ongoing maintenance and organization of theInformatica repositories and metadata
• Identifies and investigates data quality/integrity problems,determines impact and provides solutions to problems
• Manages ETL defects, enhancements, and new functionality requeststo meet changes in the business needs
• Develops, implements and enforces scalable and best practice ETLArchitecture standards for all EDW data load processes
• Mentors/coaches others in Informatica, ETL and Data Warehousingby sharing knowledge, best practices and lessons learned fromrelevant past experiences
• Creates ETL deployment instructions including failure recoveryprocedure, and monitor successful data load of each ETLdeployment
• Assists Quality Assurance teams in developing test scripts andtest plans for validating the quality/integrity of loaded data
• Provides post-conversion/post-migration support and performsfunctional/data discrepancy analysis as needed
• Documents all processes and mappings related to ETL work andfollows development best practices as adopted by the Data Warehouseteam.

Required skills and experience:

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree OR a minimum of 8 years ofexperience and/or training in the technical Business Intelligencefield, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in querying and analyzing datasources to understand the data and determine logic for datatransformations
• Minimum of 3 years relevant technical experience with dataintegration and/or EDW design and development
• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role on an ETL or DataWarehousing team
• Excellence in oral/written communications, interpersonalrelations, team cooperation and demonstrated ability to communicatewith both technical and business stakeholders
• Proficient in analyzing business/data requirements, writingmetadata definitions, and writing data mapping specifications
• Proficient in data analysis, defect identifications andresolutions
• Proven understanding of conceptual, logical, and physical datamodeling
• Proven experience with full lifecycle development projects andAgile methodologies
• Excellent project management and problem solving skills
• Expertise with Informatica’s Product Suite, particularlyPowerCenter and PowerExchange, including ability to design anddevelop complex Informatica mappings, sessions, workflows andidentify areas of optimizations
• Proven Informatica development experience (Oracle databasetechnologies preferred)
• Familiarity with Oracle database features such as materializedviews, bitmap indexes, IOTs, external tables, etc. especially asETL pertains to them
• Experience with Oracle 11g using RAC and ASM
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and software developmentbest practices, particularly related to Enterprise Data Warehousingpreferred Desired skills and experience:
