Salary:

This position is key to developing a data framework within Empowerthat will empower individuals to lead fuller, healthier lives athome and in the community. This position ensures critical data isusable to improve quality of life for our members. Job DetailsWorking with the Vice President, Business Intelligence andEnterprise Applications, this position will develop, implement,support and use a data strategy ensuring data is accessible,secured, timely, accurate, and consistent. The position will helpto architect the business intelligence solution for Empower thatpromotes access to data in a self service model. The position willwork with the Vice President, Business Intelligence and EnterpriseApplications to establish and support a data governance practice aswell as develop and maintain the artifacts needed. The positionwill support reporting and analytical needs across the organizationby developing complex analytics and reports as well asmentoring/leading a matrixed group of report developers andanalysts within each functional area, This position will promotethe correct use of data through the development of policies,procedures, training, user manuals and example/template reports andanalytics Responsibilities and Attributes for
Success:
Define anddocument data, application, system architecture Lead crossorganizational projects and meetings Assess and recommend solutionsfor data management, reporting and analytics Communicate data andtechnical concepts to business leaders Identify problems andopportunities and drive to solutions Develop reports and analysison diverse set of data to support operational and regulatory needsIdentify opportunities to promote data analysis and develop theanalysis, trends, projections, algorithms to support it Researchand identify new data sources based upon current and futurebusiness needs Develop policies, workflows and other documentationas needed
Experience Required:
Minimum Bachelor’s degree inMathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, or related fieldwith a relevant advanced degree (MHA or MBA) preferred Extensiveexperience in Medicaid and Managed Care. Extensive experience inAnalytic role Proficiency with SQL and analysis tools Experiencewith data visualization tools, machine learning, text mining, datamining Knowledge of data governance concepts and tools Experiencewith data management systems and ETL frameworks Knowledge of HIPAA,NIST and other security requirements Experience in generatingprocess documentation including workflow and data modelingtechniques Extensive experience in developing requirementsgathering, testing and documentation Experience in conductingcost/benefit analysis, impact analysis, GAP analysis, RISKanalysis, SWOT analysis, etc. Strong verbal and writtencommunication skills for internal and external (clients, statebodies, vendors) Process orientation with strongorganizational/leadership and analytic skills(troubleshooting,attention to detail, etc.) Experience leading large softwareprojects Experience engaging all levels of an organization in acollaborative and confident style that engenders credibilityAbility to work in a “start up” culture with limited supports andresources Ability to drive projects to completion Interested inhearing more?
