Data Architect
About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Data Architect to design, develop, and manage our enterprise data architecture. This role will be critical in shaping how data is collected, stored, accessed, and utilized across the organization. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, a deep understanding of data systems, and the ability to lead data architecture strategy and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable, high-performance data architecture solutions for structured and unstructured data
Develop and maintain enterprise data models, metadata, and data dictionaries
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data needs and ensure alignment with business goals
Ensure data solutions adhere to security, compliance, and governance standards
Evaluate, recommend, and implement data storage technologies (cloud, hybrid, on-premise)
Design and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data flow
Guide and mentor developers and analysts on best practices in data architecture
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role
Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data warehousing concepts
Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and cloud-native data services
Familiarity with data governance, security, and privacy best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Databricks)
Knowledge of data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Azure Data Factory)
Familiarity with BI and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Background in master data management (MDM) and data quality frameworks
