What you will do:
Data Governance Frameworks:
Develop and implement data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
Data Quality & Integrity:
Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
Data Access Management:
Manage data access and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
Data Audits & Assessments:
Conduct data audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Monitor and report on data governance metrics and performance.
User Support & Training:
Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution; conduct training sessions and create documentation.
Administration & Management:
Administer and maintain SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, and related Microsoft 365 services.
Development & Integration:
Customize and enhance SharePoint functionalities using Power Automate, PowerApps, and SharePoint Designer; integrate SharePoint with other enterprise applications.
Configuration & Monitoring:
Configure and manage SharePoint site collections, document libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions; monitor system health, performance, and security.
Governance & Compliance:

Minimum Education:
The minimum education requirement for the Data Governance Specialist position is a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience in the field may also be considered.
Minimum Preferred Experience:
A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, or data quality, with a preference for a year or more of experience in data governance. Experience developing and documenting data governance processes and procedures as part of a data governance committee. Advanced understanding of data management, confidentiality, compliance, laws and regulations such as
GDPR, HIPAA, FTC.
Experience coordinating data governance, or directly managing data management documentation, for data systems, metadata, and metadata standards. Strong understanding of data-related technical concepts and legacy systems. Experience managing and administering data environments such as SharePoint, Azure Files, Dropbox and others
