The Director of Advanced Data Analytics is responsible for leading the data capability efforts, ensuring alignment with the DTCC overall data Strategy objectives. This role involves leading all aspects of the development of data capabilities. The accurate individual will excel at executive presentations and influence data strategy and capabilities adoption while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet business requirements.

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team to achieve data strategy objectives and deliver high-quality data solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive critical initiatives and projects. Develop and deliver shared enterprise technology solutions/capabilities to accelerate data modernization journey. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members to support their professional growth and development Demonstrate effective leadership outside of strict reporting lines by building positive relationships with partners. Exhibit excellent organizational skills to bring order to uncertainty and keep all tasks on track. Mitigates risk by following established procedures, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior. Participates in the design, specification, and implementation of business and technology projects, assuring adherence to enterprise-wide solutions and feeding lessons-learned back into the enterprise architecture process. Promotes awareness of and reuse of existing data capabilities Maintains understanding of existing DTCC applications and technology solutions for demonstrating the reuse of data designs and for the consolidation of designs. Identifies and researches opportunities for converging diverse DTCC solutions to a common data architecture. Leads and enables collaboration across technology specialties – ensures that Application Development, Infrastructure, Information Security and Architecture are all working together. Maintains understanding of emerging data architecture concepts and methods and associated technology trends. Conducts presentations and education on data capabilities and solutions to appropriate areas of DTCC.•

Qualifications:

Minimum of 15 years of professional experience in data management and engineering 5 years of professional data-related experience in the financial services industry Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a technical field (e.g. Comp Sci or Engineering) and/or equivalent experienceTalents Needed for

Sustained full-lifecycle technical leadership on any data-intensive development projects (e.g. Data Integration, Data Catalog, Data Quality, Data Analytics and Reporting, Data Controls, Data Warehouse) The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
