Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Onshore Data Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Life Insurance domain, as well as extensive experience working with offshore teams. This role requires hands-on technical skills and recent experience with AWS-focused data work.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with offshore teams and manage/review their tasks. Work on data modeling, data engineering, and data orchestration using AWS technologies. Utilize SQL, PySpark, Python, and AWS tools for data architecture tasks. Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and team members. Ensure data solutions meet business requirements and industry standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
12-15 years of relevant experience. Recent (last 2-3 assignments) AWS-focused data work. Strong experience in the Life Insurance domain. Hands-on technical skills in SQL, PySpark, Python, and AWS. Excellent communication skills. Experience working in onshore/offshore models.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in AWS tools: Dynamo
DB, AWS S3, DMS, AWS
Kinesis DataStreams, AWS Glue Catalog, AWS Athena, AWS OpenSearch, and Attunity. Experience managing and collaborating with offshore teams.
