Leading P&C Insurance Provider ???? $160,000 – $170,000 + Full pakcage Lead the Future of Trusted Data We’re partnered with a dynamic P&C insurance provider that’s investing heavily in its data strategy,and at the heart of it is the need for rock-solid governance. As Data Governance Manager , you’ll take the lead in shaping the policies, frameworks, and controls that ensure data is secure, compliant, and used responsibly across the organization. This is a unique opportunity to move beyond maintenance and into strategic ownership, where your work directly impacts regulatory alignment, operational risk, and enterprise decision-making. The Role In this high-visibility role, you’ll design and drive a company-wide data governance program, working closely with compliance, technology, and business teams. From building frameworks and closing control gaps to leading audits and policy rollouts, your expertise will support risk management, operational integrity, and scalable growth. You’ll also be a key voice in enterprise initiatives, from vendor oversight to business continuity, and help embed a culture of stewardship and compliance across the company. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and evolve enterprise data governance policies and standards Ensure compliance with regulators (DOIs, NAIC, and industry authorities) Identify data risks through internal audits and risk assessments; drive mitigation efforts Collaborate with business units to enforce governance practices and remediate gaps Deliver reports and dashboards to senior leadership and regulatory bodies Support broader corporate initiatives like vendor management and continuity planning Lead cross-functional teams in delivering data governance and stewardship solutions Launch training programs that drive awareness and adoption of governance best practices Define and operationalize roles for data stewardship across the organization What You Bring Bachelor’s degree (Risk Management, MIS, or Business preferred); Master’s a plus 7+ years in data governance, compliance, or data-related business roles 2+ years in a leadership or team management capacity Deep understanding of the insurance industry, especially P&C/Homeowners Hands-on experience with regulatory requirements and GRC frameworks Proficiency with tools like Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365 Suite Strong communicator and influencer, capable of leading cross-functional collaboration Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of driving change across teams Relevant certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM, CRMP) are a bonus A values-driven mindset that aligns with a culture of integrity and excellence Why This Role?
