BBI Headquarters Office (Miami, FL) Position Overview The Manager, Stewardship is responsible for the delivery of benefits for assigned sponsors at all national events and maintaining ongoing, comprehensive stewardship throughout the year. The Manager, Stewardship will also serve as the staff point leading the continuing stewardship and communication of annual donors. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of customer service and/or sponsor management experience. Extremely organized with high attention to detail. Outstanding writing and proofreading skills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle stressful situations and sensitive information. Efficient and effective project and time management skills, including detailed follow-up. Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Publisher, Excel and Word Experience with database management, preferably Raiser’s Edge. Motivated and self-starter personality with timeline and deadline management skills. Ability to travel to California, Boston, New York, Miami and other areas with flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Deliver sponsor benefits to assigned sponsors at major events throughout the year, including but not limited to: Hyannis Port Challenge; California Challenge; New York Challenge; Miami Challenge, and Miami Gala. Maintain an organized record of individual sponsor benefits for each event Maintain year-round contact with sponsors; research and write sponsor outreach emails Maintain accurate sponsor information and actions in Raiser’s Edge database Utilize Raisers Edge and Benevolence (Summa) to manage all external communications and constituent record tracking for national giving campaigns Assist with the creation of and implementation of comprehensive plans for donor stewardship touches to increase donor engagement Collaborate with data team lead to support donor database maintenance and ensure accuracy Maintain close working relationships with relevant development staff who rely on Raiser’s Edge to ensure coordination of system input and output to improve development efforts Prepare written proposals, including solicitation materials, executive summaries, and thank you notes for assigned sponsors Assist development team with editing letters, proposals, and other written materials Assist Senior Director, Partnerships & Stewardship with new projects as assigned Best Buddies® is an affirmative action employer, in addition to an EOE and
