BBI Headquarters Office (Miami, FL) Position Overview TheManager, Stewardship is responsible for the delivery of benefitsfor assigned sponsors at all national events and maintainingongoing, comprehensive stewardship throughout the year. TheManager, Stewardship will also serve as the staff point leading thecontinuing stewardship and communication of annual donors. JobRequirements Bachelor’s degree and two to four years of customerservice and/or sponsor management experience. Extremely organizedwith high attention to detail. Outstanding writing and proofreadingskills. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle stressfulsituations and sensitive information. Efficient and effectiveproject and time management skills, including detailed follow-up.

Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs, particularlyOutlook, Publisher, Excel and Word Experience with databasemanagement, preferably Raiser’s Edge. Motivated and self-starterpersonality with timeline and deadline management skills. Abilityto travel to California, Boston, New York, Miami and other areaswith flexibility to work nights and weekends, as needed. Job Dutiesinclude, but are not limited to: Deliver sponsor benefits toassigned sponsors at major events throughout the year, includingbut not limited to: Hyannis Port Challenge; California Challenge;New York Challenge; Miami Challenge, and Miami Gala. Maintain anorganized record of individual sponsor benefits for each eventMaintain year-round contact with sponsors; research and writesponsor outreach emails Maintain accurate sponsor information andactions in Raiser’s Edge database Utilize Raisers Edge andBenevolence (Summa) to manage all external communications andconstituent record tracking for national giving campaigns Assistwith the creation of and implementation of comprehensive plans fordonor stewardship touches to increase donor engagement Collaboratewith data team lead to support donor database maintenance andensure accuracy Maintain close working relationships with relevantdevelopment staff who rely on Raiser’s Edge to ensure coordinationof system input and output to improve development efforts Preparewritten proposals, including solicitation materials, executivesummaries, and thank you notes for assigned sponsors Assistdevelopment team with editing letters, proposals, and other writtenmaterials Assist Senior Director, Partnerships & Stewardship withnew projects as assigned Best Buddies® is an affirmative actionemployer, in addition to an EOE and
