Data Center Migration Leader

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Orlando, FL that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Data Center Migration Leader to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
    Lead Data Center Migrations:

    Oversee the entire migration process, from planning and execution to post-migration support, ensuring minimal disruption to operations

      Technical Expertise:

      Utilize your deep understanding of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing, to guide the migration process

        Leadership and Oversight:

        Provide strong leadership and delegate tasks effectively, working closely with the Program Manager to ensure project success

          Stakeholder Collaboration:

          Collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment and support throughout the migration process

            Migration Methodologies and Tools:

            Apply your experience with various migration methodologies and tools to execute migrations efficiently and effectively

              Problem-Solving:

              Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to address any issues that arise during the migration process

                Communication:

                Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate clear and effective interactions with all stakeholders

                REQUIREMENTS
                • Proven experience (minimum 7+ years) in data center migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration support
                • Deep understanding of data center technologies, including servers, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing
                • Strong leadership capabilities and ability to delegate tasks and provide oversight, in coordination with the Program Manager
                • Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including IT teams, management, and third-party vendors, to ensure alignment and support throughout the migration process
                • Experience with various migration methodologies and tools
                • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
                • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
                • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing data center migrations, including planning, execution, and post-migration support
                  The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

                We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
                We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
