Orlando Health is seeking a dynamic Director of Data & AI Governance to architect and drive enterprise-wide governance strategies that ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and responsible AI adoption. Information Technology What You ll DoDesign and execute a comprehensive data and AI governance strategy aligned with business goals and regulatory standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.).Lead enterprise-wide governance initiatives, including metadata management, data cataloging, and classification using Microsoft Purview.
Establish policies and best practices for data stewardship, AI risk mitigation, and ethical AI use.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Platform Engineering, Integration, and Centers of Excellence to embed governance into all data-driven initiatives.
Champion data literacy and responsible AI education across the organization.
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of data governance and AI ethics professionals.
Serve as a strategic advisor to executives, aligning governance with corporate strategy and innovation goals.
What You BringBachelor s degree (required)7+ years of experience in data management, including 3+ years in governance framework implementation (required)Deep knowledge of data compliance standards (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)Experience with metadata management, data cataloging tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview), and AI governance frameworksStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skillsWhy Join Orlando Health?
