Job Description
Position Summary
In conjunction with the Rehabilitative Therapies and Nursing Department, collects data from team conference and maintains uniform
data system files.

1300 Hempel Ave, Ocoee, FL 34761 Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Assists with the monitoring of the Functional Independence Measurement System/Uniform Data Systems (FIMS/UDS) to ensure
quality patient care.
Interacts with all hospital departments as necessary to facilitate quality care.
Supports the Education, Program Improvement, Infection Control and administrative functions of the Inpatient Rehabilitation
Department.
Prior to patient admission works with the IRF PAI Coordinator on appropriate admission status.
Assists the Director of Rehabilitative Services in analysis and presentation of data to various medical staff and operational
committees.
In coordination with the Rehabilitative Education Coordinator, supports the Educational Program Improvement and Infection
Control functions.
Serves as resource and consultant to staff.
Communicates with the Admission Liaison team and maintains patient referral and admission data.
Performs routine problem solving.
Works with sensitive employee and patient information and confidential organization information.
Meets HIPPA guidelines.
Interacts professionally with all levels of management.
Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state
and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/Training
High school graduate or equivalent.
Medical terminology knowledge.
Licensure/Certification None.
Experience
Five (5) years’ experience in supporting nursing/clinical leadership.
Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software management.
Atleast a year of insurance verification experience required.
