No VISA candidates will beconsidered for this position Job Summary The Data Quality Manager will lead and participate in datagovernance efforts across the Business Unit areas to ensure thatenterprise data used for reporting, modeling, key businessdecisions and executing company business processes is ‘fit forpurpose’. This position will report to the Director of DataRemediation in the Chief Administration Office and support thecompany as it builds its capabilities to transition to a CategoryIV institution (LFI).
Role Responsibilities:
The Data Quality Manager is responsible forimplementing data quality controls in alignment with foundationaldata quality principles, showing progress and adherence to theFirm’s Data Governance Policy and its principles as amended fromtime to time. In addition, the Data Quality Manager will beresponsible for developing and publishing DQ metrics and progressreporting to various forums and councils; documenting and improvingoperational processes, including approval and escalation plans,data risk and controls adoption and implementation. The person inthis role will partner with subject matter experts in RegulatoryReporting, Compliance, Technology, and others in the Category IVprogram to drive data strategy, help remediate data concerns andimplement the appropriate data quality controls, where applicable,to ensure sound data integrity going forward.
Primary Skills:
Fully understand various data and reporting flowsacross the Regulatory Reporting areas to identify and executeremediation with systemic implementations in partnership with theBusiness and Technology teams. Correspond and execute deliverables aligned with principles,policies, frameworks and procedures laid at the firm or businessunit or function levels as per the guidance from the ChiefAdministrative Officer heading up the Business Controls & Riskfunction. Lead data quality control implementations, control designenhancements, process and technological improvements to realizeefficiencies for improving timeliness and accuracy of existing andnew reporting artifacts. Implement reporting and data controls to enhance integrity of keyregulatory reporting. Track, resolve and escalate issues for own projects while keepingrelevant stakeholders informed. Maintain project deliverables including reporting and trackingstatus using PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams and MicrosoftAzure DevOps (TFS) tracking tool. Create effective presentations to be used with business audiencesof various levels.
Education:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science / Business / MIS(equivalent combination of education, experience and/or trainingapproved by Human Resources) preferred, with a minimum of 5-7 yearsof relevant experience. Oversight and supervisory experience, minimum of 2-3 years Data quality, data governance/management or similar level dataanalysis experience required – OR – Any equivalent combination of education, experience and/ortraining approved by Human Resources.
