POSITION CONCEPT
The Digital Workspace Specialist empowers staff to effectively use Microsoft 365 tools—including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and other collaboration applications—by providing support, training, and practical guidance. This role focuses on enhancing digital workflows, organizing shared digital environments, and driving efficiency across departments. The position also provides backup support to the Tessitura team by learning and assisting with show builds and on-sale setup processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Serve as a knowledgeable internal resource for Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Outlook). Assist departments in structuring and maintaining SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and OneDrive folders to ensure usability and consistency. Create and maintain user-friendly intranet pages and digital communication tools. Develop concise, easy-to-follow user guides, tutorials, and FAQs to assist staff in using digital tools confidently. Identify opportunities for digital process improvements and assist with basic tools like Forms, Lists, or Power Automate. Provide first-level support for Microsoft 365 issues; triage and escalate more complex technical problems when necessary. Stay current on new Microsoft 365 features and recommend adoption of tools that enhance productivity. Support internal dashboard or reporting efforts using Microsoft tools Serve as a backup resource for the Tessitura ticketing team by learning how to build shows and manage event setup for public on-sales.
Education/ Experiences:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology (IT), Computer Science, or related field required. 2-5 years of experience working in IT environments with specialization in digital workspace technologies. Experience with ticketing systems (Tessitura preferred) preferred. Experience with Microsoft 365 required.
Demonstrated Skills or Knowledge:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Forms. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to structure information clearly for a variety of audiences. Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create training materials and coach users with varying levels of technical expertise. Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable with a strong customer service mindset. Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, Lists, or Power BI is a plus. Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365
Fundamentals or Microsoft Certified:
Teams Administrator Associate) are preferred.
Physical Demands:
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods-of-time. Ability to operate computer, calculator, and other basic office machines. Ability to use telephone. Ability to maintain good attendance.

Valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
