We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Director, DataManagement, to join our Enterprise Data Governance team. This roleis in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL – HYBRID. In this role,you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Lead a global team ofdata and engineering professionals. Primary responsibility of theteam is the effective and seamless delivery of pricing and securityreference data to Accounting and Middle office platforms. Lead theData Management involvement in client RFPs and Due Diligencemeetings. Responsible for managing multiple development projects,often global in scope. Directs and provides guidance on theanalysis and design of data delivery for incoming clients, andconsistent with the corporate architectural models. Leadscollaboration with Master Data Management operational deliveryteams to ensure client requirements are understood and can besupported in the most effective way. Analyses current businesspractices, processes, and procedures and helps to identify futurebusiness opportunities. Role holders will be part of Master DataManagement leadership team and will be expected to play a key rolein global leadership objectives. Leads analysis of industry andmarket trends to determine their potential impact on the businessunit and organization. Monitors compliance with procedures,policies and standards relating to master data management. Recruitsdirect, motivate and develops staff, maximizing their individualcontribution, their professional growth and their ability tofunction effectively with their colleagues as a team. To besuccessful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’sdegree or equivalent work experience 12 years of experience relatedto data management experience, experience in the financial servicesindustry is a plus. 4-8 years’ experience in team leadership Expertknowledge of internal platforms, especially Eagle Experience ofindustry vendors Experience of direct client interactions, andability to speak to BNY Mellon solutions Experience in managingRisk, Control, and Governance At BNY, our culture speaks foritself.
