JOB DESCRIPTION JOB GOAL
To assist district personnel to effectively deploy information systems among application users.
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate Degree from an accredited educational institution and/or related work/learning experience. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Demonstrated competence in the use of information technology and related software. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and coordinate with other personnel. Minimum of one year successful work experience in the field of coordinating and supporting the implementation of information software/services and building capacity of application users. Demonstrated competence in the effective display and use of data to guide decision making.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Thorough knowledge of District organizational structure, information and technology services, and curriculum and instruction programs. Demonstrated skills in applying database and data display software and other information sources and building capacity of application users. Ability to understand and carry out complex and technical written and oral instructions. Ability to communicate effectively, and to establish and maintain working relationships with district, school and vendor personnel. Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks and coordinate with other personnel. Skill in reading, understanding, interpreting, applying and communicating information in technical manuals and documents. Ability to facilitate communication among personnel with diverse technical skills and variety of specialized information. Ability to carry out job responsibilities and handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop programs and projects from initial planning to full implementation. Work with vendors, program directors, and district wide user personnel to determine needs, define solutions and produce quality results. Act as a project leader and coordinate participation among personnel from a variety of work sites and departments. Plan and coordinate post implementation reviews. Review and submit recommendations for improvement of information systems and applications. Maintain confidentiality regarding school and work place matters. Meet and deal effectively with staff members, administrators, vendors, and other contact persons using tact and good judgment. Plan, coordinate and implement professional development activities among application users including district and school based personnel. Participate successfully in training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency. Stay current with up-to-date information technology and applicable curriculum and instruction programs. Understand data and information displays to interpret and communicate meaning. Work independently and cooperatively to support related initiatives managed by various supervisors. Serve as a liaison between vendors, program personnel and information services. Identify, report, and communicate risks and issues to appropriate personnel. Follow attendance, punctuality and proper dress rules. Ensure adherence to good safety standards. Exhibit interpersonal skills to work as an effective team member. Model and maintain high ethical standards. Demonstrate initiative in the performance of assigned responsibilities. Respond to inquiries and concerns in a timely manner. Keep supervisor informed of potential problems or unusual events. Demonstrate support for the school district and its goals and objectives. Prepare all required reports and maintain all appropriate records. Participate successfully in the training programs offered to increase skill and proficiency related to assignment. Perform other tasks consistent with the goals and objectives of this position.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Medium Work:
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District’s approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the District.

Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
