Job Description Job Summary – As a Data Quality Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical data assets.
Your key responsibilities will include:
10+ years of hands-on experience in data quality testing or automation. Developing and maintaining automated data quality checks: Design and implement automated tests using SQL, Python, or Java to validate data against defined rules and standards. Building data quality frameworks: Contribute to the development of robust data quality frameworks and processes. Collaborating with ETL developers and data analysts: Work closely with ETL developers and data analysts to identify and resolve data quality issues. Creating and maintaining test documentation: Document test cases, test results, and data quality metrics. Monitoring data quality metrics: Track and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. Staying up-to-date with industry best practices: Research and implement new data quality tools and techniques. Advanced SQL skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and validation. Strong programming skills: Experience with Python or Java for developing automated tests. ETL and data warehouse knowledge: Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. Experience with BDD testing: Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow). Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Skills
