Job Description Job Summary – As a Data Quality Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing automated solutions to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of critical data assets.

Your key responsibilities will include:

 10+ years of hands-on experience in data quality testing or automation.  Developing and maintaining automated data quality checks: Design and implement automated tests using SQL, Python, or Java to validate data against defined rules and standards.  Building data quality frameworks: Contribute to the development of robust data quality frameworks and processes.  Collaborating with ETL developers and data analysts: Work closely with ETL developers and data analysts to identify and resolve data quality issues.  Creating and maintaining test documentation: Document test cases, test results, and data quality metrics.  Monitoring data quality metrics: Track and analyze data quality metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.  Staying up-to-date with industry best practices: Research and implement new data quality tools and techniques.  Advanced SQL skills: Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and validation.  Strong programming skills: Experience with Python or Java for developing automated tests.  ETL and data warehouse knowledge: Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.  Experience with BDD testing: Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles and tools (e.g., Cucumber, SpecFlow).  Excellent communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
