Azure SQL Stack:

specifically, SSIS ETL packages, query optimization, database design, and reporting solutions. PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Experience with modern data lake approaches and alternative schemas and approaches to transactional and analytics data repositories
Experience designing and developing database objects, tables, stored procedures, views, and SSIS packages
Hands-on Azure database administration and automation skills
Expert SSRS Report building skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Including a proactive disposition towards identifying problems and providing solutions
Thorough understanding of database performance analysis and optimization
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server high availability technologies (i.e. always on high availability groups, replication, etc.)
Experience managing SQL Server instances in the Azure environment
Degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics preferred
You are an out-of-the box critical thinker, voice your perspective, but also have the humility to hear out others and weigh their perspectives carefully
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL
Experience with the SSAS stack & building data warehouses is preferred
Experience in Healthcare is a plus
Experience with Tableau / Power BI a plus
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

Degree in Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Engineering, Mathematics preferred

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL, at least 3 years Azure based experience
A minimum of 10 years experience in database architecture and administration across any platform
Experience with the SSAS stack & building data warehouses is preferred
Experience in Healthcare is a plus
Experience with Tableau / Power BI a plus
