Description Summary:

An Implementation Coordinator will manage and streamline the onboarding process for clients entering our colocation data centers and cable landing station facilities. This role is pivotal in coordinating between the Data Center and Network teams to ensure timely, efficient, and successful service implementations.

Essential Duties:

Serve as the primary liaison and advocate for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle. Manage onboarding workflows using established templates and checklists to ensure process consistency and efficiency. Communicate implementation plans, progress updates, and timelines to internal teams and external stakeholders. Coordinate complex service installations, including the scheduling of site and carrier construction activities. Monitor and drive project progress, identifying and resolving issues proactively to maintain schedule integrity. Confirm service readiness and activation; ensure all operational and system-related tasks are closed in a timely manner. Set clear expectations with clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and satisfaction throughout the process. Maintain organized documentation and detailed project notes for internal and client-facing records. Exhibit strong multitasking abilities, balancing multiple concurrent projects without compromising quality or timelines.

Education/Training/Experience:

2 or more years’ experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure, with direct involvement in colocation cabinet installation and configuration. Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent technical training and work experience). Solid understanding of data center environments, with a focus on colocation services and client infrastructure requirements. Familiarity with basic network infrastructure concepts (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, and connectivity solutions) is advantageous. Certifications in data center management (preferred). Project Management certification such as CAPM or PMP (preferred). Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders across operations, engineering, and sales. Strong written communication and documentation skills; excellent attention to detail.
