) The Digital Catering and In-Flight Solutions (DCIS) team at Delta is committed to empowering cross-divisional success through data-driven insights and strategy. As the DCIS Data Strategy Manager, you will lead efforts to organize, oversee and optimize data processes that support key initiatives and insights across In-Flight Service, Onboard Services and Flight Operations. The Manager is expected to lead a team that leverages data strategy, analytics and engineering to inform platform strategy, optimize performance and deliver actionable insights to key stakeholders. In supporting the frontline, the data and platform strategy should elevate the employee experience, simplify internal workflows and empower frontline teams to serve our customers. This role requires strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration and the ability to lead a team to execute data solutions that meet business goals. The ideal candidate will have a mix of leadership expertise, technical acumen and a proven ability to transform data into actionable insights.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Lead and develop a team of data SMEs and product owners with varying experience levels Implement and evolve data strategy roadmap to support DCIS and cross-divisional initiatives Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, Salesforce native reports, and ETL processes to ensure data reliability and accessibility Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand data needs, prioritize projects, and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives Manage and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering growth and technical excellence Drive adoption of best practices in data governance, reporting, and visualization Serve as a strategic partner to IT and other divisional teams, advocating for business needs and ensuring alignment on data priorities Provide regular updates and insights to leadership through status reports, presentations, and ad-hoc analyses Support decision-making by delivering clear, actionable insights from complex data sets Build relationships across divisions to promote transparency and collaboration on shared data initiatives

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

(MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

) 5+ years of experience in leadership roles with a focus on data strategy, analytics, or related fields Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage projects, and prioritize workloads effectively Strong technical skills in data management and analysis, with experience in tools such as

SAS, ETL

processes, and data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards Proven ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and data solutions Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to driving continuous improvement Organized and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering measurable outcomes A commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and safety-conscious workplace Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
