Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. + 2 years of experience in program management. + Experience with data analytics, reporting, and scripting using SQL. + Experience with data networking architectures and physical network components.
Preferred qualifications:
+ 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects. + Experience with high-availability cloud-based ESRI ArcGIS Enterprise software. + Knowledge of fiber optic systems, network infrastructure, and carrier networks. + Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills and the ability to influence cross-functionally at various levels. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You’re equally comfortable explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. You will be part of a team leading Google’s efforts to manage its network infrastructure data. You will contribute to and lead the development of improved tools, methods and procedures that will enable Google to maintain clear visibility of its network infrastructure as it continues to scale. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google (https://careers.google.com/benefits/) . + Develop governing policies on data quality and education partner teams to ensure that Google’s global network infrastructure data is accurate, complete and accessible. + Work with other teams to extend Google’s existing network infrastructure data tools/applications, methods, standards and processes in support of business efficiency and automation programs. + Manage operational and tactical data projects and programs. These include assisting other teams with data management and translation, working with contractors on data entry management, developing ETL procedures and workflows. + Work with Technical/Product/Project leadership aligning product and cross-organizational projects priorities/schedules. + Use data managed by the larger team to conduct geo analysis using tools like ArcGIS.
