Position Summary:
The Data Manager will perform various data management and IT support tasks to assist the organization, as well as serve as the first point of contact for Third Party Administrators.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Data Reporting and System Integration (75%) Will serve as the lead for data management, data analysis, and presenting and reporting findings, including key performance measures, in order to evaluate program outputs and outcomes Serves as the point person for data-related tasks, assigned projects, and reporting. Serve as the lead administrator for Son of a Saint’s central data systems including, Google Suite, Zapier, Amazon Business, Quickbooks, Golden, Salesforce, and all other applications as needed. Develop reports and presentations for a variety of internal and external stakeholders Performs statistical analyses and prepares high-level data sets for staff Oversees selection, implementation, maintenance, upgrades, and vendor management for all data systems Helps drive staff performance and mentee/mentor engagement by coordinating the collection, validation, storage, and analysis of survey data Thoughtfully distills data to provide leadership with data analyses that can be used to support decision-making and strategic planning Ensures that established schedules and budgets are met. Creates protocols for different data systems to communicate efficiently Coordinates the production of data by the assigned department and leads data presentation meetings/technical project updates with various departments (Programs, Operations, Development, Creative, and Community Engagement) Responsible for processing new mentee enrollments Oversee information systems, develop and manage processes to gather key information such as mentee/mentor attendance, demographics, and goal progression Anticipates, identifies, and resolves various technology obstacles to ensure success of overall data collection and analysis Develop and prepare customized reports as needed Coordinate with and support departments across the organization including Development, Communications, Finance, Operations, and Programs, especially with data extraction, analysis, reports formulation, and technical support Onboard and offboard staff re: IT needs and trainings and office set-ups/clean-outs Manage data collection and storage to ensure data availability, security, and integrity All other duties and responsibilities as assigned Technical Support (25%) Identifies, investigates, and resolves users problems with computer software and hardware. Acts as a point person for all Third Party Administrators. Fields support calls, chat, email, and/or other communication from users with inquiries regarding software, connectivity, printing, hardware, and similar concerns. Consults with users to determine steps and procedures taken to identify and resolve the problem. Assists in meeting the IT needs of all events. Applies knowledge of computer software, hardware, and procedures to solve problems. Guides users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, which may include use of diagnostic tools and software and/or following verbal instructions. Arranges service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products. Maintains inventory of all hardware and softwares. Maintains administrative rights to all software systems. Maintains knowledge of technology innovations and trends. Performs other related duties as assigned. Position Qualifications & Competencies Bachelor’s degree required and minimum 3 years experience Fluency with Google Workspace is required; Comfortable with Salesforce is preferred Prior experience developing data strategy and solving data challenges with schools, non-profits, or youth-serving organizations is a significant plus Ability to switch flexibly between extreme detail orientation and high-level strategic vision to deliver accurate and high-quality products Collaborative mindset and strong written and oral communication skills Resilience, strong work ethic, and outcomes orientation Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities Strong quantitative and technical skills Experience with programming languages and statistical software Experience manipulating large datasets and working with raw data
