This full-time, in-office role is ideal for professionals with a background in IT, library science, or information management who are passionate about supporting legal research and ensuring seamless access to digital resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Resource Management:
Oversee access to online research subscriptions, e-newsletters, legal databases, and other digital tools, ensuring compliance with contractual guidelines and optimal user experience.
Data & Application Management:
Process electronic routing and subscription services; maintain accurate records by cataloging both print and digital materials into our collections database.
Reference & Training Support:
Provide reference assistance to internal clients; develop and deliver training sessions to staff on effective utilization of digital resources.
Administrative Assistance:
Support monthly billing processes, invoice reconciliation, and auditing procedures; assist with routine administrative tasks as needed.
Collection Maintenance:
Organize, update, and maintain bibliographic records and digital collections; participate in special projects related to collection development.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment. Proficiency in managing digital resources and familiarity with legal research databases. Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
