The IS Supervisor-Reporting and QA Team serves a supervisory role over the Reporting and QA team, directing team activities and tasks, problem solving data requests and data reporting needs, and organizing the priority of work within the team with direction from the Director of Data Management or their designee(s).
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs day-to-day management of the reporting and QA team and related project activity. Responsible for overseeing and completing reporting development, deployment, and maintenance, quality assurance activities for data processes and reports, and business analysis promoting efficient practices in the DWH environment. Responsible for meeting with internal and external partners to provide technical and reporting expertise on new and existing projects. Supervises the activities of the Reporting and QA team and prioritizes tasks and projects for team members. Assures efficient use of team resources in the accomplishment of project tasks and assists with problem solving issues related to reporting Organizes and convenes team huddles to manage the day-to-day priorities and status updates of various projects in progress. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related degree required. Master’s Degree in related area preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
Five (5) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting with complex reporting requirements. Knowledge of query methodologies or other software packages related to ETL and data reporting, such as SQL, SSRS, Power BI, as well as automation tools used to enhance efficiency and reliability. Must understand data integration approaches and can effectively utilize various tools/processes to enhance the organizations data integration efforts. Understanding of application tools for maintenance and building new functionality.
