Job Description
Data Architect – Global Atlantic Financial Company (Brighton, MA): Design & dvlp enterprise data & data architecture solutions using Java, J2EE, Hadoop & other data technologies like Spark, Scala, Python & SQL. Assemble lrg, complex data sets that meet functional & non-functional bus. req’mts.
REQ’MTS:
Bach (US or foreign equiv) in Applied CS, Info Sci, Comp or Electronics Eng’g or rel comp analytical field + 12 yrs exp as member of IT team. Prior exp must incl 3 yrs of following: Architecting complete end to end design of enterprise-wide solution using latest technologies incl Java, J2EE, Hadoop, Spring boot/Spring Cloud, Rest
API & SQL
; working in Python, Core Java, Hortonworks, AWS, Rest API, Microsrvcs, Spring Boot & Spring cloud; Data modeling, complex data structures, data processing, data quality & data lifecycle; Working SQL knowl & working w/ relational dbases, query authoring (SQL) & variety of dbases; building & optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures & data sets; Performing root cause analysis on internal & external data & processes to provide solution for specific bus. req’mts; building solutions for streaming apps; leading critical aspects of data mgmt & app mgmt; UNIX shell scripting, batch scheduling & version control tools;& working in lrg scale srvr-side app dvlpmt that incl design & implementation of high-volume data processing jobs. $177,341-$186,660.24/yr.
