Summary You will serve as a
SECURITY SPECIALIST
(SAP) in the Security Staff (01N), of
NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.
Responsibilities You will serve as the Command Government Special Access Program (SAP) Security Officer (GSSO) and the main point of contact for all SAP- related programs at the Naval Oceanographic Office. You will enforce procedures to ensure SAP information is not disclosed to unauthorized personnel through a deficiency in internal handling or processing procedures. You will serve as a courier for classified information. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-12 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience being responsible for the physical security, personnel security, visitor access control, document accountability and automated information for a Special Access Program (SAP). Experience interpreting new and changing security policies for applications to the SAP environment and specific site security requirements. Experience demonstrating initiative developing improved security practices and procedures to provide the best protection of National Security Information.
