Job Description

Product Information (PIM) Platform Administrator (30179888 ) Kidde Global Solutions- RSR 1016 Corporate Park Drive, Mebane, NC 27302 Kidde is looking for a Product Information and PIM Platform Administrator to help Kidde grow sales across its portfolio of residential fire and safety products within both retail and commercial channels by ensuring our PIM system has complete, accurate, and timely product information ready to be pushed to our external customers. This role also will ensure that PIM-enriched product detail and its expanded set of attributes is pushed into Kidde ‘s data lake for integration of this data with other business data including ERP, sales and marketing to enable robust, on-demand reporting and analysis of performance across Kidde ‘s entire portfolio of products and customers. This person will champion our mission to be data-driven and will possess strong interpersonal skills, a broad understanding of PIM capabilities and the technical knowhow to leverage PIM for optimal business impact. The position is sure to develop one’s leadership, management, and technical capabilities as well as provide an exciting career path at Kidde . The role is highly visible with broad exposure to senior leaders across the business and has strong leadership support.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead business systems analysis and design, including workflow and business process analysis to support complex PIM implementation projects and continuous improvement initiatives. Develop visual workflows, data flows, processes, and business requirements to aid projects, on-going maintenance, and data management and governance. Work with reporting team and IT to ensure data flows properly into PIM from various sources; and, from PIM into Snowflake, automating these data flows whenever appropriate and feasible. Help IT and implementation partners create automated syndication from Kidde to customers and internal websites. When automated syndication of product information to customers is not feasible, create streamlined and standardized population procedures with minimal manual touches. Build PIM Product data management into Kidde new product launches as part of the product launch process. Work with product managers and technical experts to validate product information and create processes to flag errors and early detection. Promote use of PIM system across Kidde functions, especially sales and marketing enabling them to be self-serve in data retrieval.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree. 1+ years of hands-on experience in PIM. 1+ years of experience leading data projects. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with In-River PIM. Experience with syndication of above-the-fold and below-the-fold content. PIM Platform implementation experience. Snowflake tables and queries experience. Knowledge of eCommerce / Digital marketing technologies. New product launch tracking. Understanding of database concepts such as database structures, query languages (SQL), and data warehousing principles Familiarity with databases (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication. Ability to organize information for reporting and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience. Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work. University Degree or equivalent. A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR An advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
