PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST
Cherry Point, NC Position Description You will serve as a Physical Security Specialist in the Command Operations Department, Security Division of
FLTREADCEN EAST.
This announcement uses the Direct Hire Authority for Certain Personnel of the Department of Defense to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will manage the physical protection of sensitive or classified information, personnel, facilities, installations, or other sensitive material.
You will provide oversight and management of security requirements such as, program security, document control, personnel security, physical security, and operations security.
You will investigate security infractions and report to the Government Program Security Officer (PSO) on findings.
You will coordinate with the PSO or program directors on security issues affecting flying training security operations.
You will oversee the generation and maintenance of databases which reflect receipt, storage, inventory and disposition of classified information.
