Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Strong understanding of data governance concepts, principles, and practices. Knowledge of cloud technologies, data warehousing, and data integration tools Ability to lead and manage data governance initiatives, including setting priorities, allocating resources, and motivating teams Proven track record of leading and executing moderately complex projects with minimal oversight. Proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocations. Detail oriented.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Capable of addressing unexpected challenges and adapting project plans accordingly.
Technologies experience:
Usage of Data Governance/ Catalog/ Metadata Tools Roles & Responsibilities This includes creating policies, procedures, and standards for data management, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Lead efforts to identify and address data quality issues, including data cleansing, validation, and transformation Implement and maintain data security measures, protecting sensitive information from unauthorized access and misuse. Ensure adherence to relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal data governance policies. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, and other relevant parties to understand their needs and align data governance efforts with organizational objectives. Track data governance performance, monitor compliance with policies, and report on data governance metrics.
