Salary Grade NC13 Salary Range $48,222- $84,388
This is an administrative position that performs tasks and decisions required in the processing of documentation and information necessary for the creation/changing or updating of Equipment Master Data records to be placed into the NCDOT database. This is a professional level technical position with a high level of responsibility for obtaining equipment for use by NCDOT field personnel in the construction and maintenance of highways throughout the state. This position will serve as support for field units for GPS software or component related instructions that relate to upfitting equipment. Responsible for table maintenance of the SAP and OCRA (Object Creation) procurement software as it relates to any creations and changes to equipment configurations within the SAP program. This position is responsible for maintenance of all electronic catalogs that pertain to Fleet Procurement. This process includes drawings, pricing, and digital photographs of all types of equipment that are available for replacement in the Fleet.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / Competencies
Applicants must submit an application that clearly reflects work experience that demonstrates the following:
Experience working independently, with vendors and other NCDOT personnel.
Knowledge of customer service related to help desk and supporting field units within NCDOT.
Experience in the operation and maintenance of heavy equipment.
Experience using MS Office, Excel, Outlook and Adobe.
Experience in computer software programs including SAP and informational databases.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

High School or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four (4) years of experience as a supervisor in an automotive or heavy equipment repair shop, including the direction of stock control activities; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
