Description Job Summary:
The PI Coordinator provides administrative support to the Director of Performance Improvement and others within the department. Performs a variety of administrative and clerical duties to facilitate the smooth operation of the area. Coordinates and analyzes data collections related to hospital quality and performance initiatives as requested.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree preferred.
Licensure/ Certification:
None Experience:
- At least two years’ experience in a clerical or similar role and
- At least two years’ experience working with healthcare data, data abstraction, data entry, medical coding or other applicable experience with performance improvement activities
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient with MS Office tools, database/data analytical skills, and able to learn new software rapidly
- Familiarity with electronic health records.
- High degree of accuracy with minutes, PowerPoint
- Ability to provide consultative and analytical support including design, implementation, coordination, and data querying to support clinical improvement work
