The Data Steward/ Data Governance is a key player who willensure that the data governance is implemented and enforced acrossthe Organization’s data landscape. The Data Steward ensurescritical data is inventoried, defined, and properly managed, asdefined by policies, standards, and procedures. This position isresponsible for data governance and data quality monitoring,identifying data issues and discrepancies throughout the datasupply chain (capture, transport, and use). The position builds andmaintains collaborative partnerships within the Organization toensure initiative success. This role will participate in all DataGovernance activities, including the creation and maintenance ofrelated documentation. This role involves collaborating withvarious departments to establish data governance policies andprocedures, and to support data-related projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement data governancepolicies and procedures. Critical Data Identification, Metadata,and Data Lineage Collects, reconciles, and maintains data lineagefor critical data assets. Ensure data quality and integrity acrossall data sources. Ensures applicable dimensions, rules, andthresholds are defined for data quality control implementation.

Establishes, monitors, and produces data quality metrics.

Identifies, collects, and manages resolution of data issues, andescalates to Business Data Leaders as required. Monitor andmaintain data standards and compliance with regulatoryrequirements. Collaborate with IT and business teams to define datarequirements and standards. Conduct data quality assessments andaudits. Manage data access and security protocols. Provide trainingand support to staff on data management best practices. Identifyand resolve data-related issues and discrepancies. Maintaindocumentation of data processes and policies. Influence seniorleaders

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in InformationManagement, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experienceas a Data Steward or in a similar role. Strong understanding ofdata governance and data management principles. Proficiency in dataanalysis and data quality tools. Excellent communication andcollaboration skills. Attention to detail and strongproblem-solving abilities. Knowledge of relevant regulatoryrequirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’sdegree in a related field. Experience with data governanceframeworks and tools. Certification in data management or datagovernance.
