Title of Position:

Director of Technology, Assessments, and Data

Qualifications:

Articulates a clear vision for the use of technology in education
Special knowledge and skills: Thorough knowledge of the application of technology to the instructional environment; thorough knowledge of available technologies; understanding of software applications appropriate for administrative and instructional usage with particular focus on data management and analysis (preferred)
Ability to perform as the Chief Information Officer for the District
Mastery of oral and written language skills
Strong organizational and communication skills with demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines
Understanding of new initiatives in education
A commitment to work well with all members of the community to accomplish the goals of the District
A commitment to the success of ALL students
Willingness to serve on district level teams
Ability to provide leadership for the planning, implementation and evaluation of technology initiatives in the Lockport City School District
The ability and commitment to use technology as an instructional tool
Uncompromising commitment to continuous improvement
Flexibility, enthusiasm, creativity, and willingness to develop programs and collaborate with and support other staff
Loyalty and evidence of being a team player
