We are a fully remote company based out of Pearl River, NY. This role is ideal for someone who is analytical, curious, and enjoys working with data. You don’t need to be a career programmer, but you should be comfortable learning technical tools like SQL Server and data automation tools, and contribute to building clean, reliable datasets that drive real business outcomes. Responsibilities Our systems are only as strong as the data that powers them. In this role, you will: Build, maintain, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and functions to support client data workflows. If you’re not already experienced, you’ll have the opportunity to learn from experienced teammates. Help automate the process of cleaning, organizing, and loading data from one system to another. Collaborate with developers, analysts, and senior team members to support internal tools and customer-facing solutions. Improve existing codebases, including legacy scripts and newer solutions. Take ownership of data preparation and transformation tasks – understanding raw input, developing logic, and delivering clean, usable output. We’re especially interested in candidates who have applied their skills in a real-world setting – whether through professional roles, contract work, or substantial personal projects. Ideal Profile We’re looking for someone who has some experience writing SQL queries against SQL Server databases. You don’t need to be a senior-level developer, but you should be comfortable writing SELECT statements, filtering and joining data, and doing basic troubleshooting when queries don’t work as expected. If you’ve ever built a spreadsheet model, written complex Excel formulas, or figured out how to streamline a repetitive task, you may already have the mindset that helps people thrive in this role. You’re analytical and comfortable with Excel formulas, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables – and ready to go deeper. You’ve worked with data in some form, either professionally or through self-driven projects. You may not be a SQL expert yet, but you’re eager to learn and have a track record of picking up technical skills quickly. Strong attention to detail and willingness to work through messy or inconsistent data. Comfortable asking questions, collaborating with senior staff, and growing into the role over time. Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Nice to Have Prior experience in a marketing, direct mail, or customer data environment. Some exposure to SQL, Python, or data tools through coursework or hobby projects. Interest in learning scripting or automation for data cleanup and transformation. Familiarity with tools that automate data processes is a bonus.

Compensation Base Salary:
