Job Description

  • Sr, Factory Data Coordinator
  • Lead daily inventory activities, while working with manufacturing leadership to standardize and ensure addressing any discrepancies. Work with ERP systems, while having knowledge of inventory control best practices. Provide necessary operations’ communication, while leading the completion of daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting via collecting and evaluating production data.
  • Responsibilities:
  • + Lead the Daily Cycle Count process.

Print out all cycle counts and pass out to designated employees to count. + Ensure all employees are properly counting inventory during cycle count process, and report any employee issues and inventory discrepancies to Inventory Manager. + Assist Inventory Manager in all Inventory Control processes, which include the controlled Inventory Warehouse and both VLM modules. + Monitor progress of scheduled production orders for each day. Escalate any issues to Production Planning and/or Management. + Transact and close-out production orders in SAP to ensure all inventory items are properly issued from the correct inventory storage locations. + Work with Production Planning, Manufacturing, and PDM to resolve any Production Order issues. + Ensure all serial numbers are accurate in Production Orders in SAP for all assemblies built + Team Leader to train/mentor other Factory Data Coordinators, Receiving/Shipping staff, Production Supervisors, etc. regarding all SAP Production Order processes. + Team Lead for all miscellaneous Inventory transactions such as Engineering inventory requests, G/L Write offs on inventory discrepancies including wrong consumption on BOMs, etc. + Team lead in PacMed product line canister Sales Orders + Monitors all Customer Sales Orders for PacMed product line. + Coordinates with Production Supervisor to schedule technician hours needed to build cannisters. + Assists in Cannister builds as needed. + Completes Production Orders and Invoices Customers once shipments are completed. + Provide necessary operations’ data and lead completing weekly status reports. + Attend daily production meetings. Provide updated information to Planning, Purchasing and Production Leads. + Respond to miscellaneous requests for info by compiling, sorting and analyzing production data. + Audit production procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance. + Assist Production Leads and Production Manager in the cross training of production personnel. Maintain training records up to date for the Production team. + Participate in the 5S program, audit, maintain the program active, etc. + Thornhill Factor Site EAC Leader

  • Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • + Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Outlook, Word, Power Point and Excel.

+ Knowledge of inventory control best practices. + Strongly demonstrated verbal and written communication skills. + Strong ability to work as a team member and independently. + Demonstrated inventory control experience in leading process standardization to drive continuous improvement. + Demonstrated experience working with an ERP system (i.e. Syteline, SAP, Oracle, etc.). + Ability to lift 25 pounds.

  • Basic Qualifications:
  • + High School Diploma/GED. + 5+ years working within a Manufacturing and/or Warehouse operations environment.
  • Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
  • + Experience with SAP ERP system. + Experience with Agile – PLM software.
