ResponsibilitiesInclude but not limited to:

• Designing and recommending securitysolutions based on industry trends and knowledge of clientenvironments
• Educating sales teams on security solution sellingand key technologies
• Developing and maintaining internalintellectual property: a combination of white papers and subjectmatter guides
• Supporting company security services offerings andportfolio by working closely with the SHI services department
• Designing an appropriate security solution for the customer basedon requirement documents
• Collaborating with other solutionarchitects and engineers in support of sales teams
• Engaging inself-study and independent work in lab facilities to increasehands-on job-related skills Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree orequivalent work experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience workingwith design and delivery/implementation of informationsecurity/risk management products or operational IT/securityexperience Required Skills
• Independent and entrepreneurial
• Ability to design security infrastructure including firewalls,endpoint, email, intrusion prevention/detection, identity, andgovernance
• Ability to demonstrate technical capabilities ofsecurity technology
• Excellent presentation skills, withExperience presenting to customers, internal teams, or localprofessional groups
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with theability to diagnose the problem
• High-level reading comprehensionneeded to examine manuals and technical reports Preferred Skills
• Performance of one or more gap assessments for formalizedinformation security frameworks and compliance requirementspreferred but not required
• One or more of the following securitycertifications: Cisco NA, CISSP, CompTIA Security, SANS GIAC, CEH,or equivalent preferred but not required
• Technical writing
• Experience across a diverse set of data center technology solutions
• SOW creation and delivery
• RFP response experience
• Consultingproject delivery Unique Requirements
• Travel to client locationsrequired up to 20%, for customer meetings, internal meetings orengagements, travel to customer or partner sites, conferences, andSHI offices.
• Extended hours are required to complete some specialprojects Additional Information
• The estimated annual pay rangefor this position is $180,000 – $250,000 which includes a basesalary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependenton job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market locationand, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefitsmay include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K,and flexible spending.
