Sr.

Manager, Data Scientist:

Formulate and apply mathematical and modeling methods and business analytics towards data extraction and manipulation in support of business intelligence initiatives.

Duties include:

apply advanced quantitative, data modeling, and machine learning methods to lead the development, validation, and delivery of algorithms, statistical models, and reporting tools; leverage data science, analytics, and large-scale optimization of digital properties and applications to develop predictive models that maximize behavioral change; identify and solve data modeling and machine learning problems, including validating information, applying quantitative judgment, and applying complex algorithms and artificial learning; perform validation and testing of models to ensure adequacy and reformulate models as necessary; and act as an analytics product owner and translate business needs into data analytics projects and recommendations. Telecommuting available. Multiple openings. Masters degree (or foreign equivalent) in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles; Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or DB2; Cloud technologies: Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP); R, Python, or SQL; Tableau; Machine learning, statistical analysis, or predictive modeling; Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting; Domain support for healthcare or retail; and Relational database concepts.
