GIS Technician Position Available In Lauderdale, Alabama

• What you’ll do
• + Updates and enhances data systems including entering and modifying data, implementing analytical processes.

+ Meets and exceeds established productivity and quality targets. Is mindful of project timelines and budget constraints. + Conducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic. + Critically evaluates and understands workflows and procedures. Identifies opportunities for improvement and participates in establishing workflows or processes. + Identifies information to be communicated to the client and project stakeholders through team leads and project managers.

• Required Qualifications:

• + One-year related work experience or GIS certification + Working knowledge of basic software programs such as Microsoft Office and ArcGIS + Strong work ethic with desire to work in a production environment

• Preferred Qualifications:

• + Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in GIS related discipline, is preferred + Prior experience utilizing GIS software in the utility or pipeline industry preferred + Knowledge of CADD is a plus + Solid working knowledge of client GIS specifications.
