Job Description
Essential Skills Must have experience supporting an NGA contract performing feature data extraction. BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience. Basic skillsets in imagery analysis, feature data extraction from satellite imagery, and digital mapping. Proven resource on Janus program. Must be U.S. citizens
- Preferred candidates will have previous experience directly supporting the Janus Geography contract performing feature data extraction for other companies
- BS degree in Geography, GIS, or related field with multiple GIS courses or equivalent GIS experience
- This is a remote position and team members will be required to use their personal computer to access their assigned US Federal computer.
- Employees will be sitting in front of a computer looking at imagery and collecting topographic features such as roads, rivers, buildings, etc.
- Employees will be required to complete tasks within estimated hours and meet quality standards Work Environment 100% fully remote- currently funded through the end of 2025 but the contract goes through 2026.
