We are looking for a GIS Technician to join our family oriented consulting practice and support a variety of project types within the energy, utilities, and civil space. You will be a critical team member that will provide GIS and CAD support for multi-year natural gas utility installation programs. You will collaborate with our team’s project managers, construction inspectors, drafters and permitting managers through the success of each project. Working from home is not an option and must be able to commute to our West Palm Beach office daily. You will grow with us and gain the experience and knowledge needed to advance your career. GIS Technician would provide GIS and CAD support for a multi-year natural gas utility installation program. The successful candidate will use independent judgement and experience to manage the client’s GIS gas utility network environment, design and manage field data collection datasets and forms collected by our construction inspectors, and assist with as-builting attribute data for new gas line and point features to support record drawing production.

Responsibilities:

Work directly with client project team members Document specifications and mapping requirements for reports, data conversions, and system interfaces Complete assigned project tasks such as GIS data development, QA/QC reviews, interpretation of gas utility as-built plans, field data processing, and other GIS data processing tasks Other duties as assigned
