Scope of Work This request seeks experienced GIS contractors to develop,implement, and maintain a robust Enterprise GIS system for the Louisiana Department ofTransportation and Development (LaDOTD). Contractors will design and build GIS-based solutions fordata extraction, translation, collection, analysis, visualization,and reporting. This includes creating interactive dashboards andweb mapping applications. Contractors will provide comprehensive GIS support, including:

Data Management:

Data extraction, transformation, loading,validation, and modelling.

Application Development:

Building and maintaining GIS applicationsusing scripting, geo-processing, and other relevant tools.

System Administration:

Configuring, integrating, and optimizing GISsoftware and hardware.

Analysis and Reporting:

Conducting spatial analysis and generatingreports to support decision-making.

User Support:

Providing technical assistance and training to LaDOTDstaff. LaDOTD has invested in a suite of GIS technologies,including:

Esri ArcGIS Suite:

For enterprise GIS capabilities. Feature Manipulation Engine (FME): For data transformation andintegration.

VertiGIS Studio and Inline:

For web map development.

Tableau:

Manager:

For highway performance management systemdata and straight line diagramming. Contractors will deliver well-documented, efficient, andsustainable GIS solutions. Knowledge transfer through training anddocumentation is essential. To enhance LaDOTD’s data management and analysis capabilities,improve decision-making, and meet federal reporting requirementsthrough the effective development and utilization of an EnterpriseGIS system. All Positions are required to be available for in-person meetingsat the Louisiana DOTD Headquarters and other State Facilities asrequired by the agency and its staff within 24 hours’ notice. Resource is located within a 90-mile radius of DOTD HQ or Domiciled in Louisiana Travel throughout the State to support DOTDs Local Government RoadData Sharing initiative •
