Mission Data File Generator Software Subject Matter Expert Position Available In Passaic, New Jersey

Job Description We are seeking a Mission Data File Generator Senior Engineer for our ECS Software organization in Totowa New Jersey. The Software organization develops and delivers Software solutions for our complex electronic products to our internal engineering teams and external testing sites. In this role, you will support technical software updates to our Mission Data File Generator products. In addition to software development responsibilities, you will be responsible for partnering with other discipline leads on the programs to help ensure that program objectives are met, and that software engineering has consistent, predictable performance. You will also participate directly on Software development efforts across the business area as an Individual Contributor and Subject Matter Expert. Software Engineering is fast paced and dynamic. You will need to be self-motivated, and highly collaborative to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities:

Partner and collaborate with the program leaders to ensure program objectives are achieved.

Developing the technical and professional skills of the team.

Supporting the technical design, development, integration and release of Mission Data File Generator products.

Work closely with product line engineering to ensure alignment and understanding of the required capabilities and functions.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills BS Degree in Engineering with at least 8 years of work experience, or equivalent experience.

Minimum of 8+ years or comparable software engineering related experience preferred.

Good familiarity with the

BAE SYSTEMS

Mission Data File Generator software productsExperience developing Electronic Warfare systems.

Experienced in software development and integration testing of Mission Data File Generator software productsExcellent communication skillsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Prior success developing Mission Data File Generator software.

A continuous improvement mindset to enhance Software development through process modernization.

Proven performance in software design and development.

Good communication skills.

Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range:

$150370 – $255630Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan. Temporary employees working 20+ hours per week are eligible for medical benefits, the employee assistance program, and business travel accident insurance.
